I don't know if this counts as cheating but once again my photographer/ husband is the subject of these "streetstyle" pictures. :D To my opinion he's got a great style and I just love how he's willing to try anything. I really, really like this flower sweater he bought last time we went shopping together and I'm definately going to be wearing it too.

 

I also asked him to tell a little bit about his outft and how he ended up wearing what he did and here are his comments: "I love gray and to my surprise I've started to warm up to all kinds of prints. This is actually one of my favourte sweaters at the moment."

 

Next time I'll try to spot someone else with great style. Unless my hubbie ends up wearing something superb.

// En tiedä, lasketaanko huijaukseksi, että tämän kertaisetkin "streetstyle" kuvat ovat kuvaajanani toimivasta miehestäni. :D Hänellä on mielestäni kiva tyyli ja erityisesti tykkään siitä, miten hän on valmis kokeilemaan oikeastaan mitä vain. Olen totaalisen rakastunut tähän kukkahuppariin ja aion aivan varmasti pukea sen salaa päälle joku kerta.

 

Pyysin mieheltä kommentit vielä tästä asusta ja siitä miten tähän päädyttiin: "Pidän kovasti harmaasta ja yllätyksekseni olen alkanut lämpenemään myös erilaisille printeille. Tämä on itseasiassa tämän hetken lempparein huppari."

 

Ens kerralla yritän bongata jonkun muun, jolla on kiva tyyli. Jollei mieheni sitten taas pue päälleen jotain huikeaa. :D

Lupasin aiemmin mahdollisesti kuvailla vähän streetstyle juttuja ja pikkumiehen asuja, joten tässä on nyt molemmat yhdistettynä. Herrat kävivät näissä tamineissa Adams Morgan Day Festivaaleissa, joista eilen kirjoittelin. Converset on pikkumiehellä harvemmin jalassa, sillä ne eivät ehkä ole ihan parhaat kävelyyn pienille jaloille, mutta sillon kun lähdetään ulos ja pääasiassa istutaan rattaissa, saa laittaa nätit kengät siitä huolimatta. Isompi herra tässä tyylilleen ominaisesti pukeutunut punaisen sävyihin. Punainen ja harmaa taitavat olla eniten edustettuna vaatekaapissa tällä hepulla. Itse tykkäisin, että miehet saisi etenkin täällä enemmän käyttää värejä. Washingtonissa on jotenkin todella virallinen tyyli ihmisillä. Kai se on tämä kaupungin business- kulttuuri, joka sen tekee. Silti olisi hauska useamminkin nähdä räväkämpää katutyyliä täälläkin. Streetstyle osion käynnistely kunnolla saattaa viedä aikansa, sillä minua kutkuttavia asukokonaisuuksia ei ihan päivittäin täällä kävele vastaan. But I'm working on it. Pitää vain löytää oikeat paikat. Georgetownin alueella varmasti ainakin tyylikkäitä ihmisä pyörii, pitää mennä metsälle sinne. :)
Huomenna enemmän omasta asusta tuolta festarilta.


// I promised earlier to maybe shoot some streetstyle pics and putfit pics of my boy and here it is now. This is what they wore to Adams Morgan Day Festival on sunday. My little one doesn't usually have chucks on because they are not the most comfortable walking shoes but when we go out and he's mostly sitting in his strollers I think it's okay to dress up a bit.
And this older gentleman is quite colourful as usual. Red and gray are propably the colors he wears the most these days. I think men should wear more colour. especially here in DC where people are so formal. I think it's because DC is a business city but it would be fun to see something different. I don't know how I'll get the streetstyle section of this blog started when it's sometimes hard to find people wearing outfits that really make me want to jump for joy. But I'm working on it. I think I just need to find the right places. I know georgetown would be a good place to find well dressed people. We'll see. :)
